I'm a very unique person, just like everybody else in the world.
So, I have a tendancy to have rather strong personal opinions.
Sometimes, people have agreed with me, although, luckily, I don't need
agreement. I figured out a long time ago that I am right!
I've changed my mind from time to time as I learned and talked to people,
but I have been pretty consistent in my ideas. You can try to change
my mind, but you should expect that you will have to be very
persausive and use a lot of reason and logic. Anybody who relies
on 'They said ...', or 'I heard ...', or worse of all,
'I'm the manager ...' will be summarily ignored. I heard
way to much of the last one for all those years I was
gainfully employed, rather than blisfully retired.
So, with that in mind, I will add a few essays from time to time on subjects
near and dear to my mind. Enjoy them, think about them or ignore them.

Raising My Kids: The LAD Principle
Who Separated Church and State?
This is the hardest essay I have ever wrote. I started out very adament about my
opinion, but I started to question many of my own ideas.
I put off publishing this for several reasons, some of which still exist.
I continue to try to make sense out of the theories regarding evolution, both of the
universe and of life here on Earth and the theories of Intelligent Design.
I'm still trying to research several point, but I finally decided to go ahead
and publish this edition of my essay. Pending further review, as they say, I
may have to update it as I go forward. respond
The one constant I have found in researching this is the staunch adamancy of the evolution supporters and thier fierce attacks against the whole idea of Intelligent Design. And I can't figure out why this is so. There is so much science and evidence on almost every point of their theories, that one would think they would welcome questions and challenges. But, instead, they seem to want to completely eliminate any questioning and attack the proponents of Intelligent Design. Why? What are they afraid of?
I don't presume to have all the answers and I'm not even sure I have all the questions. So, feel free to read what I think (as of today) and offer any reasonable points of your own. If you would share them with me, I will, with your permission, share them with other readers. But don't attack or question the intelligence of those whom you disagree with. If you want to do that, you will have to do it elsewhere.
My current thinking on Intelligent Evolution
If you read my serious opinion piece, here is another way of looking
at the problem in a much less serious vein.
A little girl asked her mother, 'How did the human race appear?'
The mother answered, 'God made Adam and Eve and they had children and so was all mankind made.'
Two days later the girl asked her father the same question.
The father answered, 'Many years ago there were monkeys from which the human race evolved.'
The confused girl returned to her mother and said, 'Mom, how is it possible that you told me
the human race was created by God, and Dad said they developed from monkeys?'
The mother answered, 'Well, dear, it is very simple. I told you about my side
of the family and your father told you about his.
